The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV accounts for over half of all UK plug-in car sales.
The Outlander PHEV uses both electric and petrol power. As such it rarely needs to visit a petrol pump. The impressive electric range gives the vehicle significant environmental credentials. It emits just 44g/km of CO2 and the official combined fuel consumption figure is 148mpg. The vehicle is exempt from road tax, London Congestion Charge and qualifies for the Government’s £5,000 Plug-in Car Grant. For company car drivers Outlander PHEV attracts just 5% taxable benefit in kind, saving £8,216 over three years compared to a similar size 4×4 SUV.
