Being a big fan of Millican products to start with, I came over all excited when I noticed they made an iPad cover. Admittedly, unlike Jim the Holdall, I don’t use Joe all the time simply because being quite a snug fit, I’m unable to use ‘Joe’ if my iPad is encased in any other type of protective cover, so if you like the look of your iPad as it came from Apple, and you’re not clumsy, you’ll be fine!
Joe’s outer fabric is made from 100% organic cotton weatherproof canvas with an internal 100% brushed cotton lining for easy screen-cleaning. Protection from bumps and bangs comes from local Herdwick sheep wool that’s layered between the two sides.
Once inside, your iPad is secured by folding over its leather strap and brass press stud.
As well as the main compartment there’s a secondary pouch on the back that has two separate pockets inside which can be used to hold other bits like your sync cable, headphones, etc.
Available in Slate Green, Antique Bronze and Grey Blue, its dimensions are: H26 x W20 x D2.5 cm, and weighs only 200gms and fits iPad 1, 2 and Air.
Like all of Nicky and Jorric’s products, ‘Joe the iPad Cover’ is well made and oozes quality.
